OHIP coverage and fees

With a valid Ontario health card and a physician referral, consultations and standard allergy testing at the clinic are covered by OHIP.

What is covered

Consultations and standard testing

With a valid Ontario health card and a physician referral, an allergist consultation and standard allergy testing, including skin prick testing and patch testing, are covered by OHIP. Follow-up visits with the allergist are also covered.

Some services may not be covered by OHIP, such as certain blood allergy tests and medications, including biologics and immunotherapy products. If something is not covered, it will be discussed with you in advance. For more detail, read our article Is Allergy Testing Covered by OHIP?

If any service ever has a fee, you are told before you are charged.
